Sheyda Ahi

Sheyda entered the world of art from a young age, growing up in an artistic family. She started learning piano at the age of six and developed an interest in painting at the age of ten. At sixteen, she began her professional career in art by illustrating children’s books for several publishers. She also held her first art exhibition, focusing on pottery painting.
Sheyda pursued a degree in photography at university and, after graduating, began working as a photographer and Art researcher in Cultural Heritage,Handcrafts and tourism Organization .She was employed by the Research Center for Cultural heritage and tourism for 15 years from 2002. Over the span of 15 years, she contributed to various cultural heritage projects, including at the National Museum of Iran,Golestan Palace, Saadabad Palace, Chogha Zanbil. She was also part of the executive team for international seminars and conferences related to Iranian culture and art. She later served as the manager and head of the photography unit at the Niavaran Palace Museum in .
After immigrating to Canada in 2018, Sheyda focused on her passion for art and implemented various ideas in the field.Sheyda turned her ideas into reality and lunched SHEYDA Gallery in July 2022 with the goal of supporting ,showcasing, and selling handmade unique artwork by Iranian Artist. At the same time she also launched her Photography Studio align with her academic and artistic background ,setting up a professional studio to provide professional service.
In August 2023, she officially registerd her compony under the name “Sheyda Gallery Studio Corporation ”in British Colombia. Sheyda is the owner of This compony,and this compony encompasses all of Sheyda`s artistic,culturall,and business activities. . allso She is Founder of “Sheyda Gallery,” “Sheyda Photography,” and “TASh 7Art Society In every aspect of her life, Sheyda is committed to simplicity and authenticity. This inclination is reflected not only in her appearance and clothing style but also in her way of life and thoughts. It is evident in her artwork, where she strives to present true beauty without relying on high-end brands and prices.
This personal trait has also inspired her gallery’s approach, which continues to focus on representing Iranian culture and art in a genuine and unpretentious way to her Canadian and global audience. .” She acts as a bridge between Iranian artists and the global market, showcasing and selling their artwork
